Good riddance. Too bad he's likely to be replaced by something worse, but then I don't care anyway because I do not watch Food TV. Neither, do I care if credulous viewers think that the over-the-hill actress or model who replaces him prefers cooking and eating over vomiting.
Rachel Ray is nothing more than Martha without the felony conviction. Rachel Ray sells a lifestyle and dabbles in cooking. I think Emeril was just the opposite.
